Kim has served as the Director of Student Engagement at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus since 2015. She enjoys exploring new ideas, supporting students, watching others grow and develop, and is very excited to be working with TEDxUSFSM!

Spence Gerber, after receiving his Associate of Arts degree in high school from the State College of Florida, began the next chapter of his academic career as a third-year student at USF, majoring in biology and minoring in history. He is pursuing his lifelong passion of a career in veterinary medicine. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering at a local veterinary hospital, taking care of his pets, and outdoor activities.
